AXLE IVO® Single sided and CHARLY® at Antwerp Police – Customised bicycle parking for special service vehicles
Street-Stuff! has supplied a safe and robust bicycle parking solution for the Antwerp police zone (Vespa). AXLE IVO® Single sided racks were installed, in combination with CHARLY® e-charging lockers. This combination offers maximum security and ease of use for the police team.
The parking facility was designed with specific requirements in mind. Think of wide tires, heavy frames, and a wide range of accessories. Moreover, every bicycle must be quickly accessible, especially during emergencies. Thanks to the generous center-to-center distance of 500 mm, there is sufficient space between the bicycles. This allows users to park even larger models effortlessly and without damage.
The AXLE IVO® uses the patented hub support system. This ensures the bicycle rests stably on the wheel axle without touching the frame. This prevents damage to the rim or paint, even with intensive use. In addition, the CHARLY® lockers allow the charger and bicycle to be locked with their own lock. This ensures both components are well-protected against theft.
