FLIP® folding bicycle parking: award-winning pop-up parking at the Tolhuistuin Canal Festival
During the Tolhuistuin Canal Festival in Amsterdam, visitors were able to park their bicycles directly and safely near the ferry. Street-Stuff installed the innovative FLIP® folding bicycle parking, specially developed for this unique project. The solution not only proved effective, it was also awarded a prize for smart, sustainable mobility.
Direct parking upon arrival
Thanks to the strategic location next to the ferry, visitors were able to park their bicycles immediately upon arrival. This ensured a smooth flow and a hospitable welcome at the Tolhuistuin. Especially at a large event like the Grachtenfestival, a fast and safe parking solution is essential. The FLIP® system offered exactly that: convenience, overview and safety in one.
Specially developed and awarded
The FLIP® folding Bicycle Leaning Gate was specially developed for the Grachtenfestival Tolhuistuin. The light, patented design (only 19.3 kg per unit) makes installation easy and fast, even by one person. In addition, the units can be transported compactly and stored stacked. These smart features earned the FLIP® an award for innovative mobility solutions during the festival.
Safe, flexible and space-saving
Each FLIP® unit can accommodate six bicycles, with two bicycles per stand being able to be safely secured. The ground supports ensure that bicycles are automatically neatly centred, keeping the area clear and accessible. Theft is actively prevented, as bicycles can only be removed with special tools. This creates an extra sense of security for visitors.
Sustainable and future-oriented pop-up parking at the Grachtenfestival Tolhuistuin
With the FLIP® foldable Bicycle Leaning Gate, Street-Stuff shows how you can combine sustainable mobility with smart, temporary solutions. The flexibility, compact transport and easy storage make FLIP® ideal for festivals and events such as the Grachtenfestival Tolhuistuin.
FLIP® is therefore the choice for anyone looking for a flexible, safe and award-winning bicycle parking solution, perfectly tailored to today’s city.
