“I find the story behind the product particularly important and Ton is very good at telling that. With a ridiculous amount of enthusiasm and persuasiveness. Sometimes a bit arrogant, but that’s part of it. Because the story behind it makes you very inclined to look at the products that STREET-STUFF! puts on the market.”
The BIKEBUSHKA by STREET-STUFF! is an award-winning, innovative bicycle shelter that blends functionality with smart design. This unique solution transforms a planter into a bike parking station in seconds, making it ideal for dynamic urban environments.
Designed with space-efficiency and sustainability in mind, the Bikebushka accommodates up to 20 bicycles using 10 fold-out bike supports neatly hidden within the planter structure. When not in use for parking, the unit serves as a green bench, contributing to the visual appeal and greening of public spaces.
This clever concept won the Startup in Residence Intergov challenge and has already proven its value on the boulevard of Scheveningen. There, the Bikebushka helps regulate crowd flow while enhancing the streetscape.
With the Bikebushka, STREET-STUFF! shows how innovative urban design can make a real difference in both mobility and the livability of city spaces.
